Sono Georgia De Angelis, un’artista visiva italiana, illustratrice e graphic designer.
Le mie illustrazioni nascono dall’incontro tra acquerello, disegno digitale e pastelli a olio o acquarellabili, in un equilibrio costante tra materia e luce. Cerco forme naturali, delicate e complesse che si muovono in spazi sospesi, dove l’immagine respira prima delle parole. Disegnare, per me, è una forma di meditazione: ogni segno, ogni dettaglio ossessivo diventa un ponte tra emozione e visione, tra gesto e pensiero.
Mi interessa ciò che si muove sotto la superficie — l’imperfezione, la vulnerabilità, il corpo come paesaggio emotivo.
Negli anni ho collaborato con realtà editoriali, musicali e brand nazionali e internazionali, creando progetti d’immagine, etichette e illustrazioni per pubblicazioni e mostre. Parallelamente, porto avanti percorsi di didattica artistica dal 2009: credo che creare significhi sperimentare, toccare, lasciarsi attraversare dal processo.
Attraverso i miei laboratori insegno a riscoprire il disegno come esperienza sensoriale, poetica e libera dal giudizio.
Pennellate Storte è il mio modo di guardare: un attraversamento, una traiettoria obliqua che accoglie l’errore e la meraviglia come parte del segno.

I’m Georgia De Angelis, an italian visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in Catania, Sicily.
My illustrations are born from the encounter between watercolor, digital drawing, and oil or water-soluble pastels, in a constant balance between matter and light. I seek natural forms — delicate and complex — that move through suspended spaces, where the image breathes before the words. For me, drawing is a form of meditation: every line, every obsessive detail becomes a bridge between emotion and vision, between gesture and thought.
I’m drawn to what hides beneath the surface — imperfection, vulnerability, the body as an emotional landscape.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with editorial, musical and brand projects in Italy and abroad, designing illustrations, visual identities and exhibiting my work in group and solo shows.
Since 2009 I’ve also led creative art education workshops, because I believe that creating means experimenting, touching, and letting the process transform you. Through these experiences, I Teach to my students to rediscover drawing as a poetic, sensory act — free from perfection.
Pennellate Storte is my way of seeing: an oblique path that welcomes error and wonder as part of the gesture.
